As an alpinist and photographer, Thomas Biasotto has a lifelong relationship with the Alpstein. In his new book “DER ALPSTEIN” he shows the breathtaking mountain world with the impressive rock formations in elaborate photographs, mostly in black and white. The cover picture of the book was taken on the Hoher Kasten and shows the impressive mountain panorama.
At the moment there is an exhibition of his fine art prints from the book “DER ALPSTEIN” on the first floor of the mountain inn Hoher Kasten. The exhibition on the summit serves as a complement to the exhibition in the INK-Concept room at Engelgasse 3 in Appenzell.
