Welcome to the summit

The only Revolving Restaurant in Eastern Switzerland completes a full rotation in an hour and offers a 360° panorama at 1,794 m above sea level. Enjoy regional delicacies with a constantly changing view. In the Revolving Restaurant we offer an à la carte service with seasonal and regional dishes.

The early bird catches the worm

Enjoy our popular breakfast buffet in the Revolving Restaurant with a breathtaking 360° view. From the first cableway ride to 10:30 a.m., we offer a wide range of regional products.

The breakfast buffet takes place every Saturday and Sunday and every day during the spring, summer, and autumn holidays. Breakfast table service is offered during the week (Monday to Friday).

We will spoil you at lunchtime according to your taste. The menu selection is varied and the view, which is offered to you in the revolving restaurant, is magnificent.

Lunch at the revolving restaurant is served every day from 11:30 am.

Varied afternoon

The famous snack platter, the so called «Vesperplättli», offers everything your heart desires in an afternoon. Enjoy an abundant platter of Appenzell specialties daily from 2:30 p.m. in the Revolving Restaurant.

Exclusive gala dinner under the full moon

Enjoy the full moon in the Revolving Restaurant with an exclusive gala dinner, surrounded by musical hammered dulcimer sounds.

The full-moon dinner takes place on a monthly basis from April to February.

A special event just for you and your guests

For banquets and evening events for 20 or more people, the Revolving Restaurant and the cableway are also open outside of normal operating hours by prior appointment.

For your private, business, or social meeting we offer an exclusive ambience with an unforgettable 360° view. In addition, an exquisite meal, fine wine, and friendly service – we offer all of this on our beautiful mountaintop. We are happy to personally provide advice on your menu choices.
