The revolving restaurant and cable car will be closed from 3 March to 4 April due to yearly maintenance. The office ist open from Monday until Friday from 08.00 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 16.00. On Friday, 7 March 2025, the office will be closed for a company excursion.

Scootering Ruhesitz

After a long day hike or simply as a short excursion, the Ruhesitz Mountain Inn offers scooters for the descent.

  • 3 km long descent
  • Scooter and helmet hire at the Ruhesitz Mountain Inn (CHF 15.-)
  • Location Ruhesitz can be reached from the valley station car park at Brülisau with a hike of approx. 1 hour or a hike from Hoher Kasten – Ruhesitz approx. 50 min
  • If there is enough snow in winter, sledges can be hired instead of scooters.
